Meet Head Chef Tanesha Dozovado!

Born and raised in the sunshine capital of the Caribbean, with one of the world's richest food cultures, young Tanesha found her passion for cooking with the help of her mother, who was famous for numerous traditional dishes. Tanesha has over 25 years of experience, which she gained from owning three previous restaurants in Jamaica. Tanesha has the skills, talent, and passion for cooking that have enabled her to capture the hearts of many with her blessed hands and exquisite taste in cuisine over the years.

Mostly famous for her fried chicken that captivates the soul, her recipe remains a secret to many and always leaves you wanting more. Many would describe Tanesha as a person of love and compassion who loves her family and friends. She has a welcoming spirit that makes everyone feel at home. Tanesha has been living in PEI with her beautiful family for the past 4 years. Career-driven and dedicated to creating her family’s legacy, she made the ultimate decision to open her very own restaurant on PEI to share her culture and traditional dishes like curry goat, oxtail with a rich body of season gravy, jerk pork, and of course everyone’s favorite, jerk chicken, plus many more.
